Yeah they can, but these were for some of my smaller guys who just wouldn't be big enough to manage a whole one- I cut the head and legs off to make the remaining lump more like their usual mouse size.
My bigger ones get the whole lot. |

Seems like lots of effort and wastage...! Why not just feed them mice til they're big enough? |

Because I've run out of mice.....I wouldn't be doing it for no good reason. It's worked a treat though so would do it in future- much cheaper than mice. It's not really wastage either. I often find the legs undigested, and the thighs have gone back in the freezer. I wouldn't call about 5p worth of chick heads wastage either.
Naelou, my lot get them regularly, just as often as their mice/rats, if not more so. The advice that they are nutritionally poor is incorrect- they are as good as a mouse in most respects. |

Would've thought so, plus although they might be pricey individually, if you get the entire set they work out to be really cheep. |

Yum - not sure i'd fancy preparing them like that, although AURYN is probably big enough for the whole thing (maybe a couple) - I think I'll stick to Multi's as treats |
