And I see what you mean about the ratsnake, especially here

Oh man I totally feel bad now, poor lads half starved, no wonder he's frowning lol. Thanks for the advice I will get him a big mouse and feed him in a couple if days time.
lotabob Posted - 03/06/2011 : 22:58:28
You feed them a mouse that is 1.5 times the thickness of the snake at its thickest point. I would switch to 7 days though, dont want him becoming a fatty.

He does have the frown of an everglades rat snake (corns are ratsnakes too I know), very cool, a mean looking but outwardly nice snake.

Hehe thankyou everybody. Actually I wonder if you could help. I'm currently Feeding him a fluff (thumbsize not including tail) once every 5 days. I think he's ready to move up to the next size food. He's wide enough in the body jut his neck is tiny, will he 'stretch' ?

What a frown he has on his little face :) Gorgeous though :)

He's stunning. Love his frown.

Great photos. He really does look like he's frowning as opposed to the normal 'wide eyed' look of a corn.

He is beautiful, agree he does look a little grumpy in those photos :)
Longshanks Posted - 01/06/2011 : 08:09:53
Thankyou everybody, despite his looks he's actually a really gentle soul, never gone for me. Which is good as he's my 1st snake and he's been very understanding about my learning curve. He did hiss at me once last week.....Suffice to say I let him be for a bit....
tordyjo Posted - 01/06/2011 : 07:11:48
he's fab even if he does look a little cheesed off, :)
kdlang Posted - 01/06/2011 : 06:57:57
He has great markings. And I agree, it looks like he has got the biggest frown ever lol
Longshanks Posted - 01/06/2011 : 01:49:33
