                | Freddiesmum | Posted - 24/09/2014 : 20:41:50 Caught Emmy shedding just now! She seems to be having issues with her tail though. So, I was Gona pop some moss in her fave hide, and if that doesn't help, help her out with a cloth tomorrow morning? Or should I try help her sooner?

I'd try tomorrow evening - maybe just spraying the tip... if that doesn't do it - Baz had the same problem - I moistened a bit of toilet tissue, wrapped her tail tip in it and kept it very wet, whilst she sat on my lap. After about 5 mins, it came off really easily, no stress for the snake. :-)

                | Freddiesmum | Posted - 30/09/2014 : 08:48:21 Ok so I'm just feeding Emmy and have noticed there is actually a tiny bit of shed on her tail

 I'll get a pic up.

Should I leave her to digest before I try get it off? Don't want to handle straight after feeding but obv don't want the tip of her tail going bad! Any advice would be appreciated

                | Freddiesmum | Posted - 26/09/2014 : 07:57:34 Oscar has always been a fab shedder, Emmy is mainly fine but have had to use moss once or twice so do worry a little more!

I've managed to catch all of mines shedding except Hugo, but he's only been here 6 days so plenty time

Well done Emmy for getting that stubborn tail piece off

                | Freddiesmum | Posted - 24/09/2014 : 21:00:09 Never mind she's all done. She went into her hide and I took her out to check and the last wee bit just came off nice and easy! Fascinating watching her shed though. I've now seen all of them shed
