Posted - 03/02/2013 : 16:52:48 So this is probably nothing, but today I got Ghost out to feed her and some of her scales near her head end look slightly weird.. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it so here's a photo:
What is this / What could have caused it?
Thanks in advance :)! |

Posted - 04/02/2013 : 20:58:26 At least she doesn't do it as much as my girl Kali, the scales on the back of her neck are bent very badly, almost scraped. Maybe I should pad everything in her viv haha, she's so accident prone! It's like she's tried to squeeze in somewhere and reversed out. |

Posted - 04/02/2013 : 06:50:01 Hmm I don't think so! Ill have a check in her vivarium, she's got a log in there with some holes in so ill make sure none of those are big enough for her to stick her head in.
Thanks for the comments! |

Posted - 03/02/2013 : 20:37:52 they look like damaged scales, it should sort itself out when she sheds |

Posted - 03/02/2013 : 18:59:53 It looks pretty normal to me. Apollo has lots of scales like this. The folds aren't all in a straight line so it isn't likely to be fat folds or 'spare tyres' that they sometimes get. |
