Posted - 27/04/2011 : 09:45:09 just sphagnum moss......it's usually damp or even wet when you buy it from a garden centre whereas branded reptile stuff is dried out (and in a miniscule bag!!)
if you do a search on this site there's instructions on how to prepare it before use, it's dead easy |

Posted - 24/04/2011 : 22:58:29 i agree with gmac, only need a moss box, thats all ive ever done as soon as i see my corn go blue i put moss box in most of the time she will be in there within a day an stay there till she sheds, never had a need to check the humidity with a gauge the box has always done the trick |

Posted - 24/04/2011 : 17:29:43 Raise the humidity quite a bit once the eyes start to go from cloudy to clear. A moss box or damp flannel. I'd be tempted to buy a hygrometer and get an idea of what the humidity is normally and gives you an idea of where you need to be for a good shed. |
