Use alcohol gel or similar everytime you handle your snakes etc??
If you don't, why not?
Also, do you know what nasties are common on snakes scales and in their mouths??
Just out of curiosity. |

Same here, always wash my hands after, dont worry with sanitizers etc....was brought up with the idea that a few germs are good for you.. |

lol,
i dont use anything, just the simples wash ma hands afterwards :) and of course still alive and kicking and not ill so i suppose thats good :D |

I think we need a wider range of test subjects. Besides, I think I am either immune already, my snakes don't for some magical reason don't carry anything or I am just very lucky. With the amount of times my snake comes into contact with my face. |

I use hand sanitizer gel before and after handling the snakes, but because it's so strong I try to use the minimum amount for my hands. I let it dry and rub it in to my arms so that the smell isn't so strong. I recently got some peach scented stuff which smells a lot nicer than the Carex stuff, as that is strong lol. I'm pretty sure the snakes will appreciate my thoughtfulness 8-D |

Each rub/viv is accompanied by a sanitiser bottle :) even when I'd picked up tamika from mike I was washing my hands in the car :P |

I use good old soap and water...for my 1 Baby :)
