Posted - 08/05/2012 : 20:55:07 Hi, my name is Sophie. I have had Dooey for nearly 5 years now. My partner and I have just had to downsize from a 2 bed house to a tiny studio so that we can save for our own place and not only am I deprived of space to keep her in but I have 2 cats, I used to shut them out whilst I had her out but in a studio that's basically impossible. She is really nice tempered and easy to handle, she loves watching tv as well! This is really my last resort because it will break my heart to see her go but she needs more attention then I can give. I would like her to go to someone who has snakes already and is really devoted to them. She is free to a good home along with her viv, heat mat etc. I will try to upload pictures as soon as I figure out how to. Thank you Sophie

Posted - 21/05/2012 : 15:01:22 Hi,
If she hasnt gone already...
I am looking for a female snake to add to my brood :) and will be happy to have her, i already have 4 snakes of all different ages and currently have 22 eggs (2nd batch from my female) cooking in the incubator ready to hatch!!
Can you post some pictures up on here or at least tell me what colour/morph she is? Has she ever been bred before or had any health issues? |

Posted - 10/05/2012 : 18:42:59 Ok I am in no rush to rehome her, I will wait until I find a perfect home. I ideally want her to go to someone who is a reptile 'fanatic' and dedicates a lot of their time to their animals, hence why I want someone with other snakes. After reading a couple of the helpful comments regarding asking for a fee I can see your point. I would like to ask for an adoption fee of £50min which I will donate to my aunties charity, borntobewild-inbude.co.uk. And I would like to assure you that if someone would like to rehome her I will be doing all the checks I feel are needed to make sure it is a good and secure one, I will actually insist that I deliver her so that I can see the new home first if anyone is interested. For some more info she is roughly 5ft, she is a corn snake, and 5 years old. Thanks for your inputs so far. Sophie |
