I'm getting this little girl tonight. Her previous owners decided they didn't want a snake, and I'm gonna take her off their hands. The have no idea what morph she is and so I was wondering if y'all con help :) She's about 2 feet long btw.

I think she looks like a diffused. Just one with not very much diffusion. She does have the grey background and the pattern of a diffused imho. |

I wasn't too sure exactly what hypo did to the belly chequers - if it's not right for hypo then I'm definitely going with diffused. Really doesn't look motley at all IMO. |

Yes PH means Possible Het  I don't know. I'm still stuck on Carolina Motley. Like I say, it depends how she grows up, If she keeps pattern, goes orange with red saddles but loses all the black she has then she's a Motley. If she keeps some pattern, goes really bright red(maybe a bit of orange) but keeps some black, she's a diffused. |

I just found this picture as I was looking at diffused hatchlings, and this girl looks exactly like mine, except mine is not quite as well diffused along the sides... This snake is Diffused ph. Hypo, Amel, Lavendar, Stripe. What does ph. mean? Thanks!!!

Ah that makes a lot more sense. No idea how you get 10 inch mixed up with 2ft but then again my neighbour has her two beardies in a "4ft" viv that looks suspiciously the same size as my two corns vivs which are both 3ft XD But of course not, her's is 4ft lol. |

She does look like that motley... And with the 2 foot thing that's what the owners told me before I got her. She's more like 10 inches haha. I don't know how they could have gotten 2 feet and 10 inches confused. And they hadn't told me abut how old she was yet so I didn't know :P |

That was one of the worst pictures I could find... That sounded horrible. What I meant was one of the least perfect examples of diffusion that I could see. I still want to stick with Carolina Motley but I guess the real truth would be seen when she grows up a bit. |

you cant compare that diffused to another diffused, the level of diffusion between each snake varies from very little to perfect.
what you also have to remember is that Ians viv carries only the good examples of diffusion not the lower quality ones ;) |

2ft long at 5 weeks old? Well just for the comparison, here are the two pics from Ians Viv that I put next to each other. The Carolina Motley is 5 months and the Diffused is 3 months.
Like I say, the best thing to do would be wait till she grows up. |

no it wouldnt, diffused takes account of the belly. im still going with diffused, the side pattern isnt motley its normal pattern from what i can see.
