Posted - 31/07/2009 : 14:06:21 They just seem to fly about, and land on roofs and near thick shrubs. That's where they've always been seen by me anyway. Usually late evenings in the summer/autumn.

Maybe they are less common in some parts of the UK, compared to now, but last year for about 2-3 weeks we were catching about 6 or 7 a night.
Interesting, I think ive come across one im my whole life, lol. Do you know the best place to find them? Like under rocks or something |

Posted - 30/07/2009 : 23:33:26 That looks like it's only about the same size as the last bone in your finger, if it is, then it's probably a juvenile male. The antlers look to big to be female, but the insect itself looks to small to be a full adult.
