the theory with our boy was that he confused his tail as a rival male and bite it! dont know if its an accurate theory but it kinda made sense, it was breeding season at the time and he isnt the brightest bless him. |

I watched her for about a minute to see if she's let go and it was just a mistake... she kept on munching lol - dunked her in the sink and let go after another minute or so then

oh dear bless her, our king at work did the same ealrier on in the year, he even tried to constrict himself! I've never been so freaked out!!

Not just Kings, SB. Vambo got a bit tetchy with a black headed rat and eventually took a snap at his own side in frustration. I (foolishly?) stepped in and got a bit of a mauling for my trouble. That was the only time I've had a nip from him. |
