Not just Kings, SB. Vambo got a bit tetchy with a black headed rat and eventually took a snap at his own side in frustration. I (foolishly?) stepped in and got a bit of a mauling for my trouble. That was the only time I've had a nip from him.

the theory with our boy was that he confused his tail as a rival male and bite it! dont know if its an accurate theory but it kinda made sense, it was breeding season at the time and he isnt the brightest bless him.
