hunh.. interesting.
I know the garden spiders around these parts will change their colour based on what they eat.. do T's do the same?

Ps, whats the pointy bit at the end of spideys bum? I was gonna google it but i was too scared. Do spiders have...stingers?? :P
Red got it. They are spinnerets. They produce silk and how it is used (web building, sheeting, egg cases, etc) |

Posted - 18/11/2012 : 20:12:22 There are rules about such things as un-warned spider pics....!!!!!!!! Granted, I did make the rule, but still! |

Apparently, they can live to 20 years. I've had this one for 8 years, and got her as an adult. They take between 5-7 years to reach adulthood.

They are supposed to be quite docile, but this one isn't. She does tend to throw up a defensive display when I open her tank, and has attacked the mist when I mist her... |
