I dragged OH along to visit the reptile room in blackpool whilst we were over there for a few days. I held their crested geckos which were SOOOO gorgeous and OH held one too.

We both fell instantly in love with them and he very quickly gave me permission to get one!

Yay!

I wonder if they will have some at the Doncaster show. The one in the shop was just gorgeous but I didn't have anything ready for the little guy so I didn't want to buy him there and then.

Soon to be a crestie owner

Here he/she is.

Fired up

Unfired, hadn't woken up yet. Sooooooo teeny!

I've reserved one for Doncaster show

He/she is a Halloween pinstripe juvenile, currently only 4 weeks old but will be 8 weeks at Doncaster when I can collect him/her Whoop whoop! Just a long wait now, plenty of time to get everything set up and ready

Although geckos are go I'm even allowed to get a pair or a trio I've already found a gorgeous tiger juvi that I've fallen in love with and may have to pick up before Donny

The sticky feet club appears to be growing
We should insist on a forum just for sticky feet owners
Moppet you will have to get a Hognose to add to your growing collection.

Can I ask a crestie question? No, we aren't getting one just yet lol! I'm just thinking quite a way ahead into the future... Prism is currently in a glass exoterra but it's a good size one, 2ft wide and high, 18 inches deep and obviously it won't be big enough for her forever. When she moves up would that be any good for, say, a pair of cresties, or would it just be too big? It would be quite nice to find something we like which could use it as a forever home.

lol love it!!!!
If there is plenty of cover,( dunelm ivy again!!)its great, i think poor Prism might be getting her new viv a LOT sooner than she thinks!!!

Haha, you next smart bunny? I blame the gorgeous photos on here entirely

That's the tank I'm getting for my cresties as adults Had to okay the final tank size with OH before I got permission and he said yes to one of those.

Oooooh. I'm planning on getting a juvenile crestie as my first one so I won't know gender but I might have to look into getting several females for a nice trio or pair

smart bunny Posted - 20/08/2013 : 14:58:38
Ha ha, she'll be alright in there for a while ;)

Haha, OH won't be going to Donnie. Not his sort of thing I will be with my tortoise fan friend She'll be the sensible one saying 'no, you don't need another reptile' and trying to pull me away from the tables Oh hang on, that might not narrow it down either...

I think it'd be nice to have a cornsnake forum folk get together somehow, even if it's just a 'look out for this obvious thing I'll be wearing' type of thing. Perhaps I will wear brightly coloured shoes or a strange hat or something

show her loads of pics, how could she resist those faces? they dont take up much space, dont have to have bugs, and are highly amusing
