One of the berber skinks has shed this morning. Its coming off in bits which I assume is normal for a lizard. I have noticed that there was shed on his back, under his chin and on his back legs and he has now buried himself again. I know that it must come off but should I leave him for the next 24 hours or longer to see if he removes it himself OR should I remove it for him with the aid of damp kitchen towel etc. I know that beardies can take upto a week do shed completely but there is very little info about for skinks. Thanks.

Just let it get on with it.
The only time I've had to intervene with any of mine is occasionally on the toes, or tail tip. Some are pigs for the eyes as well, but Leos like to be awkward.
