Posted - 17/08/2010 : 21:32:20 My spiny/prickly stick insects are dying, the females are okay, but the males are constantly on the floor, cant climb or fly anymore. definitely on their way out. I know they're bugs and I've only had them a while, but I'm really cut up about it How did I manage to get emotionally attached to insects ffs? |

Posted - 17/08/2010 : 21:54:17 Most species can reproduce without males being present, but they do exist as separate genders. The femlaes are usually a lot larger, eg. my spiny/*****ly ones, the female is a full inch thick and nine inches long, the male is a centimeter thick and 6 inches long with functionung wings. Theres a lot of sexual dimorphism |
