Posted - 24/03/2010 : 18:21:50 i know this is a week old now but i got mine from b+q, or at least a carpenter friend did. but i have the wood effect panels which for some reason are twice the price of equivilant sized white faced panels. also they only came in 2 meter length so mine is 2.5 foot not 3 like i said before. the plans i had are on the old virus`d comp so i`ll make a pic on Paint if i can remember how it went.

Posted - 18/03/2010 : 13:06:06 Sorry I havent answered before.
I used 18mm conti bored and it is smaller because it fits inside the top, bottom and sides that is why it end up smaller by 4cm.
I did make a 3x2x2 but it was made out of 2 boards. |

Posted - 17/03/2010 : 21:27:58 his 60cm was the width of his plank which he made the long part of the viv - 2 feet, so if you got the 240x61 its slightly longer but the same wide, you wont be able to get 3 feet out of a piece of wood thats 2 feet basicly.
you need 2 of these to make a 3 foot long and up to 18 inches high and deep
its in CMs. 45 is just under 18", change the 45 to 38 for 15" |

Posted - 17/03/2010 : 20:02:53 Sorry to be female, but which lay out allows those bits to be cut from that size plank, I understand the layout illustrated is the old one and would not work. |

So the thickness of the wood im buying is 15mm which is about 1.5cm will i need to change the middle size bord (i think the backbord) which has 90cm by 34cm or do i change this back to 90cm by 38cm ??
15mm is about 9/16 isn't it?
Im not sure |

Posted - 15/03/2010 : 19:31:58 daz has'nt mentioned how thick the wood is,what ever the thickness off your wood is,double it then take that away from the height of the back panel because you have to take the top and bottom into consideration, hope you understand that lol |

Posted - 15/03/2010 : 19:29:48 i would asume the 34 is the back board alowing for thickness, looking at the picture its "inside" what would be top and bottom |
