Posted - 22/01/2010 : 12:08:09 Can I overlap heat mats? I dont mean under tha tank. I have an over hang on each mat between the vivs, (converted fish tanks) and wanted to put close the gap between the two vivs where the over hangs are. Can I put the overlaps ontop of each other? Or would this cause mat problems?
If that makes sence? I know what I mean! |

Thanks guys. |

and TBH i'm not sure, i wouldn't overlap heatmats that are UNDER a viv/faun as you'd create a definite hotspot, if the overlapped bits were exposed to the air and had air circulation to prevent a hotspot then i probably would......... |
