Can I overlap heat mats? I dont mean under tha tank.
I have an over hang on each mat between the vivs, (converted fish tanks) and wanted to put close the gap between the two vivs where the over hangs are. Can I put the overlaps ontop of each other? Or would this cause mat problems?

If that makes sence? I know what I mean!

hmmm, that IS a new one DM lol

and TBH i'm not sure, i wouldn't overlap heatmats that are UNDER a viv/faun as you'd create a definite hotspot, if the overlapped bits were exposed to the air and had air circulation to prevent a hotspot then i probably would.........

I'd be worried about the combined heat of the 2 overlapping areas...

Ok fair enough, That was my thought about it creating a hotspot between the vivs and possably on the glass. Looks like the gap will stay and out mate will have to find somewhere else to put his tea!!

Thanks guys.
