Always think this before using a new substrate. If the snake slithers through the substrate and into its water bowl, would you still feel the snake is safe to drink from the water? |

I wouldn't use anything that's scented, Either through chemicals or natural means. At best it could effect the snakes sense of smell, at worst it could be toxic. |
