hey ive just cleaned my rats out and there some stuff left over. could i use biocatlet for my corn or should i just stick with newspaper

What is it? Cat litter?

I dont like the idea of using anything like that, you dont know what chemicals are in it. Stick with paper.

its paper based cat litter dust free its just got a nice smell to it. it shouldnt have any chemicals in it i hope not anyways coz like i said i use it for my rats

I wouldn't use anything that's scented, Either through chemicals or natural means.
At best it could effect the snakes sense of smell, at worst it could be toxic.

Always think this before using a new substrate. If the snake slithers through the substrate and into its water bowl, would you still feel the snake is safe to drink from the water?
