I'm bringing home a royal next week sometime and i'm just gathering all the things I need for her, i've bought everything but im starting to run out of money (oops lol) and i want to get a few more things for her viv just to make her feel more secure. Trevors viv is packed with hides and things and I was thinking of taking out 1 of his branches and putting it in the new royals viv for a bit more cover, would this be an issue? As in would she be able to smell him and get stressed? Or shall I just go out buy another one, oorr just soak it and/or wipe it down with the spray stuff i use to clean out the viv.

should be ok, but personally would give it the full treatment as if its just been collected, full soak and dry

cool that will save me a fiver lol, will the spray disinfectant stuff i use for the viv already be enough? Or should I use something else.

you would have to disinfect the branch before adding to the viv, once thats done no problems
