So earlier this evening i was having a fag break at work and I see a cat playing with something on the floor, it was a slow worm! (I think) so I picked the little guy up held him for a few mins then took him away from the cat and put him back in the grass =] I didn't manage to get a pic though as I didn't have my phone on me. Was so cool though I havn't seen one since i was little!
I just had to post it on here as no-one i told seemed to understand why I was so happy to have saved one lol

I have a friend who found one in her garden. Called the SSPCA and they came to collect it and note where it was found as apparently they do that because they are rare here.

Like the others I've not seen one - but I think you did well to rescue it from a cat. I'm sure the wormy is happily back with his family and friends telling them all about the cat and the nice human.... do worms have families?

my parents garden is swarming with wildlife.. mainly birds (hundreds of them!) and toads/frogs near the pond.
hope to see some slow worms soon though!
