my thermostat and other bits i have ordered offline from surrey have arrived today! was wondering if anyone could help me though? i have plugged the stat into the mains to see if it has worked and the powerlight has come one, i then plugged the heatmatt in and the green light hasnt lit up  but if i turn it all off at the mains and then back on again the green light flicks up and goes off again so i was wondering if the stat is faulty? any advice! |

The dial is usually set very low and needs to be turned up to detect the heat mat. |

What's the dial set to and where is the probe. |
