Ooooh ...rather you than me! I hope they pay you well!

The main problem i have is when i am on days i leave at 04:30 in the morning and don't get home until 19:30, then do it again the next day, 2 days off the swap to nights 18:00 until 06:00.
When i am on shift it feels like all i do is eat, sleep and work!
It's the shift swaps that are hardest though!!

all good fun

What does everybody do?

Student, learning animation and modelling. And no, I do not get to go out and drink, I work my ass off specially this coming year since it's my final year :( On rush weeks, I will be up at 6 and be up till 3 in the morning.

Erm, I'll pass thanks, I have nothing but trains all day as it is, the last thing I need is more!! Sometimes I wish I was still an aircraft tech! Its more entertaining than this!

Hi, Mike, good morning. I can recommend some brilliant steam train videos on youtube if you want a busman's holiday ....

Dr Beeching has a lot to answer for!

Good morning! Sunny???? Lucky you! It was hammering it down when I left at 6 this morning, and hasn't rained here yet, but its threatening it!!

My sympathies. Hope you're able to chill out with slightly stronger liquids sometime this weekend!

I'm a leisure Consultant for the Government.
Can be LONG hours, can be very little hours. Pay varies, but is worth it sometimes.

6 12 hr shifts in one week is not a lot of fun.

You don't live in Wakefield do you? Think you work for a firm that has huge complex in this area - heard about them! Used to be all coal mines round there but now all that's produced is coke ...
