Posted - 26/07/2010 : 00:21:52 Ahhh the addiction! I want a new snakie and my OH has said i'm allowed! LOL On 1 condition she chooses the snake (fine by me) she likes the great plains rat snake. As i understand there very alike the corn (even related?) just wanted to know if any 1 owns one and what there like in general? |

Posted - 30/07/2010 : 13:52:48 As above great plains do get bigger, quite easily hit 6ft and chunky too. Other than that, they are pretty much the same. |

Posted - 26/07/2010 : 01:27:54 rat snakes and corn snakes are part of the one big happy family, dont have great plains rat snake however i do have 2 black rat snakes, and they are very similar to corns temperament wise, apart from them being more active.
The husbandry is very much th same as for a corn snake. |
