I know this is a bit of useless post, but I just couldn't contain my excitement, and the people in my office at work won't appreciate this as much as you guys!

I get to handle little Theo for the first time tonight!
I'm so excited. I'm even finishing work early, ha ha!

Will be getting pics, pics and then some more pics!

Sorry for being so giddy

Not a useless post at all! Totally understand how you feel, I was just the same over my Sidney. Sounds silly but I still get little flutters after the 48 hours is up after a feed how sad is that!!! I think it's quite amazing that snake can make a human go all gooy inside. What a shame more folk don't 'get' it.

good luck with feed, not that youll need it. it is a shame that no one else gets the feeling, but it's not just snakes, it's any reptile, like my gecko wich you can read about in a different thread

Definitely not a useless post Ashley!! I can totally understand your excitement and also understand how frustrating it is not having anyone to share that excitement it - none of my friends or family understand my 'corn-craziness' so I have to use this forum as my outlet....you poor poor people !!!

Checkout this link for some advice as to how to go about it - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8735

You must let us know how it goes and I cant wait to see pics. Just be calm, gentle and confident....and no matter how tempting it is dont have Theo out for too long - it is a case of quality not quantity.

xxx
