Well I said I would video him again to see if he would constrict and he didn't let me down  . In fact it was a pretty savage affair and a little bloody. The strike and coil was fierce, the fuzzie split open  so I had to clean him up after it.

Have tried watching your video of Elijah feeding but unfortunately my laptop's internet connection is playing up....but I did manage to get the first minute and it was a case of blink and you missed it when he struck and coiled !
Fantastic pics (as usual Mick). Love the way he is squeezing the pinkie to 'death' while he watches  ! (particularly in pic 4). Did the pinkie burst purely from the pressure of him squeezing it?  Our snakes seem such harmless little creatures, especially little ones like Elijah, that we often forget how strong they are.
Well done for getting the tongue flicks, such a difficult shot to get!

| Looks like a zombie mouse! :) My last mouse burst open and spilt blood all over her tail. She then tried to bite her tail after she was done after the mouse! She soon realised it wasn't leftovers! |
