I've tried to research this, but to no avail.

Do gravid and post gravid snakes need extra calcium?
If so what form?

Can I just dip their food into the same calcium powder (the one i use on Chameleons)? Of course in a seperate container so as not to contaminate the tub.

Your experienced opinions will be greatfully received.

Cheers, Sam x

I don't think it is needed, but to produce the eggs takes alot of calcium out of the mother therefore weakening them so a little bit of extra calcium won't go a miss.

I know there are some people on her that dust their mice in calcium powder

Not really but it helps with the eggs and may also prevent her from being egg bound as egg bound snakes normally need calcium shots.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

Deffo doesn't do any harm, and will help with healthy egg production.
