Okay when I got Blaze 10 months ago he had some sort of head injury, could see his purple skin which I'd put down to a burn/excessive rubbing before he came to me (too small to get a pic) not caused him a problem but have noticed he's got some peely skin around this area... he shed about 3 weeks ago.

What can I do? there is a scale there, a little bit is coloured and the rest is this wierd purple colour.. was a good lad let me examine it closer, and it is smooth...

Am in complete confusion..

As long as its not an open wound I would just leave it. Get a photo if you can.

It's not bleeding or seeping, and the skin must be strong, as it's not broken in 10 months of me keeping him, doubt it will heal either..

Shall try to get a photo.. won't be brilliant.

Isn't F10 disinfectant?

Anyway heres some pics.

not the best, am sorry. Note in the second picture I am in no way trying to hurt him, I just restrained him otherwise I couldn't get a good pic, I'm not some big dumb oaf as to break something.

The red dot has appeared after his recovery shed, which he shed last night...

I told my step mum I may have o get him checked out; her response: "He'll be alright"...

Reason I asked is he came to me with it, and has just gone red.. unless thats the new scales underneath? taken a long time for it heal though.. near a year.

Cheers Matty, I didn't guarantee perfect pics.
