I will get some pics of the russian in a couple of days, he just ate last night. Shes a big girl but soft as you like, she just tends to go where she likes really. I dont know how old she is, mostly shes just fat, a little overweight, she was eating guinea pigs!
The amel was a proper stroppy sod, shes the only one i have had that will flatten her head too, and she almost jumps when she strikes! |

I feel so stupid not being able t tell the difference between a boa and a python. Well I know the difference but visually they look the same to me ._.
Do all boa's have a moustache? |

Apparently its quite common, with some its more distinguishing and with others its very faded.
I never really noticed untill Kehhlyr pointed it out, and apparently he never really noticed untill he got marshmallow. Who has an awesome little tash and goatee combo may i add.
You can tell the difference betwene boas and pythons after you've seen the two. They have different colours and patterns and boas have a very distinguishing shaped head.
Most Pythons species also get bigger than most boa species, although both have smaller and larger ones for instance Hog Island Boas only grow to about 5 foot i believe, and Royal pythons grow to a similar length, where as there are other boa species which can reach 12foot and python species which can reach over 28foot.
The Reticulated Python being the largest python and one of if not the largest snake species in the world.
I forget, on average which get bigger Retics or Green Anacondas? |

I keep trying to look at the heads to tell the difference but I guess because I haven't seen that many of both that I can't tell apart.
I shall be using the moustache method from now on though :D |

Lol, boas also tend to look more muscular if that helps at all.
That said there are some boas that are neither muscular or have a tash, BTD's Amazon Tree Boa for example. Because it lives in trees it has a very slender body. |
