just wondering if sycamore tree is safe to use as ive just cut one down and theres some good looking branches on it?

i read somewhere that most hardwoods are safe to use aslong as their cleaned well, just wondering if anyone else had used it without problems?

Yer its normly the softwoods that cause the problems, most hardwoods are ok. I'd wait for somebody to varify before you did put it into a viv or faun but i think it should be ok once you strip the bark off and treat it.

it should be fine it just like they said not the soft woods. u must try and take the bark off and then put it in the oven to kill the germs and then put it in boiling hot water so u can just make sure!
