mystery outer skin seems to be peeling off and he has no signs of going into shed. he last shed 3 weeks ago. temps are kept consistant with no variations. 30-22. humidity is at 35% most of the time. always has clean water, my susbstate is snake friendly (zoo med repti bark and zoo med coco fibre)
to describe it properly. they are falling out in individual scale skins. the scales are all still in place and are not damaged. though they have lost there shine. They almost look dry now. Ive got another thread in the health section but its not attracting enough attention and im really concerned.
please please help. thanks ari |

Why don't you take him to a vet? Sorry i can't be any help to you.. I don't think people don't answer because it doesn't draw attention. I think that most of them, if not all of them, don't know more than you do. Hope everything turns out fine, Electra |

thanks matey, i do know that... just really worried. increasing the humidity in the tank using a wet towl. hopefully inject some moisture in there to rehydrate the skin / aid loose skin cells to peel. will locate a vet soon as possible. |
