If you go on the Rainbow boa site, there is an other boas sub section, you may get more of a response there alothough there will be a few people here than can help you there will be more on that site, and some of the people on this site are over there. |

They're great little snakes! I have a pair and they are both excellent! Both really docile, feed great and the male is actually quite active. Plus its awesome how they just burrow straight down into the substrate, they make cool little tunnels all over the place. Is there anything in specific that you want to know about them?
Heres a couple of pics of mine.
Male,
Female,
Together, size difference between male and female is quite insane. (Male is the little one)

thanks BTD, those pics are amazing! are the females always so much bigger? Leaping lizards in york near us have 4 male hatchlings, so we're off to buy one first thing saturday morning! What substrate would you recommend? the shop says they keep them on sand, can they still burrow ok through aspen chips? |

Yea, females get a fair bit bigger than males (as you can see in the pic ) The male is an early 09 though, so not very old. Id definatly reccomend aspen, they burrow through it fine and mine have made loads of little tunnels.
Hope to see some pics of your new addition when you pick him up |
