What is you snakes name and any thought or meanings behind them?
Fofo - Portuguese for Fluffy
Vespa - Originally wanted to call her Silvester but I got laughed at!
Kyre - our son is called Zak and we nicked named him Zakyre and loved it so much we wanted to use the name some where lol |
Carolina Corn called Fofo, Female
Motley Corn called vespa, Female
Butter Corn called Amarelo, Female
Charcoal Carn called Cinzento, Female?
And Finally our newest member of the Zoo A Snow Corn named Neve, Female AGAIN!!!! |

Missy- Origanly called Bam after headbutting the tub on the way home and after one of the jackass boys, We thought it fitted! Then found out he was a she so namesd her after Bam's wife insted! Quite ironic as the real Bam Margera is scared of snakes!
Karma- she has 2 heart shape saddles one on her head and one right behind it. Also as she was so calm even for a hatchling! |

Edison is a city in New Jersey, Liberty is from Liberty Falls and Mont is from Montana the state  |

| mine are Maizy (maize another name for corn....see what i did there ;) ) violet (anniversary pressie and all i got her was flowers and she looked purple...the snake not the missus, she took it well)and probably going to be gavin and stacey as the kids have decided(we live in barry where the show is filmed) i like kellogs and corneilius |

Mine are named after characters from TV or films-
Casper, because he is a ghost, is named after Casper the Friendly Ghost
Mushu, an amel, is named after the little red dragon in Mulan
Diego the python is named after the saber tooth tiger from Ice Age
and Crockett, a miami, is named after the character in Miami Vice. |

My ghost is called casper after casper the firendly ghost although she strikes so much im not sure its a fitting name.
But i dont have a name for my blood red yet.
Any suggestion? |

Snickers' name came after I refused to name her Slithers, so snickering to myself, I named her Snickers. So now I have a dog named nacho and a snake named Snickers. Now my friends laugh because both of my pets are named after junk food.I have to admit though I didn't laugh so much at my names as I did when I saw someone had named their corn "Shaggy". That one made me roll.quote:

| Ours is called Wizard, really not sure how he came by the name as it's really our daughters corn, and she named him, so god only knows hr thought process!!!!!! |

Sid - because everyone needs a sid the snake
Maria - the kids chose that
Brinker - named after Hans Brinker the dutch boy who plugged a dyke with his finger, because he was a gift from a Dutch friend
Gobje - a gift from my friends Gaby and Robje
Daisy - butter - cow - Daisy  it made sense at the time!
Boddington - because he's the same colour as a pint of Boddies
Stella - because she's the same colour as a pint of Stella
Cornelia - we had a competition in the pub to name her and that won :)
Flake - because she's a snow
Dave - why not?! :D
Derek - named after my Dad
Bo - because it goes nicely with Derek :D

Cinco - Spanish for 5. He was hatchling number 5 and middle daughter is learning Spanish, she chose it.
Sadie - Youngest daughter named her. She was 3 at the time and I've no idea where she even heard the name.
Snuggles - Eldest daughter decided on the name before she even had the snake. I think it's an early-developed sense of irony in an 11 year old.
The Stig - OH decided on it. We were bringing him home from Brum (where we got him from) down the M69 when the OH looked down at the speedo and realised he was breaking the speed limit. Blamed it on the snake sneezing and the snake became The Stig.
I figure the names aren't too bad. Actually the snakes got off lightly. When the eldest daughter was about 3 she had two gerbils. One was called Steve (for Steve Irwin because the gerbil was blonde) and one was called Alan (for Alan Titchmarsh. He was black furred and daughter was in love with A.T at the time) Yes I breed odd children. |

| Twilight was named because his colours reminded me of that time of day - he was jet black and bright silver when I got him. Saracen just came to me on the journey home - it wasn't on the short list of names I'd spent ages researching beforehand! The sound just seemed to suit him. |
