I got Medusa's new vivarium just after new year but have been waiting to put her in it as she just looked too small.
However today I couldn't wait any longer and she LOVES it, I'm so pleased. Seen her out more today than I have for ages, she loves her plant and her new large water bowl and when she was having a snake around she didn't look as tiny as I thought she would.
Only problem now is, the cat has a much bigger window to spy on her through, a very unhealthy obsession! |

This one is a classic one of Meg pestering poor Medusa, although she didn't seem too bothered, I think they were having a chat! |

Hi Gaz, She measured in at 23 inches this week and weighs approx 50g. It's a 3ft viv, looks a bit bare at the mo as the hides have been moved over from her small RUB, but as she grows so will the hides to fill the viv up a bit!
To help her settle in I made sure the substrate is deep enough in the colder end for her to burrow and I've put in a kitchen roll and a 40cm silk plant to fill gaps. She's had a good nose around to see if she can escape anywhere lol and seems to like sliding up the glass doors, even though she's on full display. I found her up in the plant as well earlier.
I was also worried she wouldn't be big enough but she seems to really appreciate the extra space. |
