"the rock went in to the oven for 4 hours on 100*C" so if i find a nice looking rock in a park.. all i have to do is cook it in the oven for about an hour on 100c ?

You can yes, but give it a good scrub in hot water and a cleaning agent as well first, then make sure it's nicely rinsed.

But beware of some rocks, at that temp for that long.
about 90c for about an hour should do it, then leave it to cool down overnight before putting it in. Rocks can hold their heat for a very long time.
