hey guys,
Cherry has literally just shed and i was wondering how soon will i be able to feed her?
She's a fussy eater at the best of times but in the lead up to this shed she's been refusing food since mid december. Now that she has finally shed im quite eager to get some food down her as im worried that she hasnt eaten for so long. but how long should i leave it before attempting a feed? Hours? Days? or am i good to go now? dont want to stress her out so just wanted to know what to do for the best.

Soon as really. I've fed as little as half hour after a feed fine. I would try a feed now, if the normal methods don't work then leave the mouse in the viv (on a butter lid or something to stop substrate sticking to food), cover viv and leave until the morning.

How do you currently feed her? eg in the viv, out the viv in seperate feeding box?

brilliant. i was hoping you'd say that :) i've left it too late for tonight but will do it first thing in the morning.
She looks sooooo beautiful and colourful now. this was the first time ive actually seen the shed in process. i was holding her and she just started rubbing at my hand with her nose and the skin began peeling back so i popped her back in her viv and got the camera ready. got loads of videos of the shed in process and will take a few sneaky pics of her feeding tomorrow :) exciting stuff!
cheers guys! :)
