Khan finished his shed yesterday and he got it all off in one go (for the first time). When looking at the shed right a the end of the tail there is a small black hard bit (maybe 1.5mm). I keep thinking its the end of his tail??? I cant check as he was fed a large meal last night. Anyone else have or seen this?

Thanks

could well be his tail tip.........have you checked Khan over?

or they quite often poo when they shed so could it be a little bit of faecal matter?

if he's had trouble shedding in the past, theres also a chance there may be more than one layer coming off the tip this time

Just to update dont think it was part of his tail. His last two sheds have been in bits. He is fine and his tail looks normal so guess it was either poop or skin.

I'd say its faeces.

Good that you were concerned about it though.
