I posted last week saying Stella Wouldnt Strike.
Well this morning i persevered and kept making her chase the pinkie around, and she finally struck.
It was pretty half hearted and no real speed there, more like a snatch, and she didnt constrict, she sort of shook it, lol.
But shes getting there :-)

Congrats.
Is it rare for younger snakes to constrict? |

A lot of snakes don't strike or consrict until they're a bit older. Some don't constrict at all. |

I wouldn't worry if your snake does or doesn't strike/constrict so long as they're eating. You could view it as your snake being very energy efficient and not wasting energy constricting something which it doesn't need to. |
