As per title is it safe to handle my little mate (Khan) while I am ill? I have flu and a chest infection. Iv been getting the OH to change his water and handle him if he was out and about. Given that I (being male ) fear I might not be alive much longer is it safe? Dont want to make him ill too. |

The chances of you making him ill are seriously low. In fact about the same chances of him making you ill really.
I'd be more concerned about your winning lottery ticket you have, I assume you've bought one?? The chances are probably not far from being the same.
Then again, with man flu are you likely to survive until the mid-week draw???? |

That would be because it doesn't affect you ladies like it does us men. We happily allow ourselves to have our bodies practically destroyed just so that you ladies don't have to take the worst of it. Gallantry it's called. |

Returning to the serious topic of snake health (as opposed to the pathetic topic of men's inability to survive the slightest common cold without acting as though they were on their deathbeds and becoming as weak and pathetic as new born kittens , whereas women continue to function no matter how bad their health is and without the slightest complaint and murmur )....is there any illness that we need to be aware of that can be a risk to our snakes?
