Well if you dont want babys dont incubate them. Though if you dont want babys, dont keep a pair together. |

You can't put to corns left to their own devices and say 'no rumpy pumpy!' they'll still do it.
It should be a very thought out plan, and can be costly.
Incubate them is the best way, if you leave them in viv Mamma snake could knock them over. |

If you dont like my post's, thats the way I am, I put things (in my eyes) bluntly.
If you want to know what I think will happen in a few years, well what I think will happen in april is that maybe (if you have a female) she COULD become egg bound. Very costly, stressful, and painfull for the animal if she's too young and small. |

T&M, artificial incubation has a greater success rate and also it means that you can start feeding the female again as they don't tend to eat when they are with their eggs.
Also, it needs to be quite humid for the eggs, which could cause problems such as RI and Scale Rot for the mother. |

OK! Think this should stop now.
Tango and Mango- Ive done a Quick Google search for you and the following are links for corn snake breeding and about eggs etc.
http://www.vmsherp.com/LCBreedingCorns.htm http://hubpages.com/hub/Breeding-CornSnakes http://www.ehow.com/how_2084905_breed-corn-snakes.html
You can also Search the whole forum for older/archived posts etc The option for that is at the top right hand side of he screen- just above and to the right of the "Log Out" Button-dont forget to tick OK to archived posts as well- I searched for "Eggs" and LOADS of information came up.
On the breeding side- (although I am NO snake breeder- I do however, breed ponies in my spare time and have 3 foals due in May 09) Im pretty sure that the female would have to be fertilized by a male in order to produce eggs that could be baby snakes.- Think along the same lines as a chicken and the eggs you eat for breakfast.
This is about unfertilized eggs and also includes pictures http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=2931&SearchTerms=egg
Below is a link to another thread that also went haywire and I think Kellog sums up nicely how we all should behave in the forum- especially this:
"Once you have written a post re-read it before you post it and consider how you would react were it to be in response to something you said...is there a better way you could express yourself, a less inflammatory way...a way that shows the respect that we should all have for others on this forum. Surely we should treat others how we wish to be treated ourselves?"
If you would like to re-read the whole enry please follow this link: http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7182&whichpage=5
Thanx
