Are Miami's a variation of normal carolina?

And do they all get the red and silver type colouring when they are adult?

Ive looked at photos of them and when they are young they look like normals.

But some adults show silvery colouring and look gorgeous.

Thanks

Thanks.

I cant believe the difference between babies and adults!

They look like normal carolinas as hatchlings but stunning as adults!

Are there many breeders of these? How could you be sure you were getting a genuine miami?

they're a wild type locality and can be very variable in the colours. the ground colour can be anywhere between silvery grey to tan, with the saddles dark red - dark orange

if you can find someone breeding from Carol Huddleston (Low Belly Reptiles) stock, then these are some of the best miamis I've ever seen

Get in touch with devilsmistress here. She knows a totally reliable breeder who makes Miamis. (That's how we got our Stella.)

i've seen lots of 'normals' labelled as miamis, it's quite hard to find a really good example....
and they're often in the US!
