hi what morphs would i get if i breed them 2 corns shown in my banner i belave there a normal male and an amel female just out off concern thats all could i get a couple pics off what they would be as i dont know my morphs at all lol |

i think babies would be Normals het amel, unless the parents have hidden hets

Don't go by this answer but im pretty sure that Normal het amel means that the amel gene will show but the snake will still carry the normal genebut wouldnt show. Wait for other peoples answers thouhg |

other way round
my Mont is normal het amel and possibly het hypo lavender but all that means is that he looks like a normal and is a normal but carries the gene for amel and might also carry the genes for hypo and lavender aswell
i think you would probably get normals but might get a few amels if your normal is het for amel aswell but eeji will be able to help you our more |

het (heterozygous) just means they carry the gene for another characteristic but it just doesnt show on the individual |

Not quite. This is the case with corns because most morphs are recesive.
However, if I had a Het spider Royal Python, it would look like a spider royal because the gene is dominant. There is a myth that het means "hidden gene". This is not the case, it means that there are 2 differant alleles for a specific gene. |
