Just to let you know your suppose to let snakling settle in for 7days then feed it, Also you should feed out side viv or put some paper on top of the substrate and feed on top of that so it dont swallow any substrate.

Agreed with the both above.
I did say in a previous post not to feed. But never mind. |

Ok just dont handle snakey for 7 - 8 days now just leave it to settle in but carry on doing your daily spot check and changing the water. |

Know you did something unadviseable Rogue, but I also know you get given conflicting information like you did from the pet shop and breeder (who should know better!). It is hard to know what to do, but I trust the advice I am given on here 100%, because it is confirmed by so many people and isnt just one person's opinion. Hopefully you have learnt from what you did.
I agree with what has been said above....leave her now for the required 7 days without handling or feeding, just daily changing of water and moving substrate around. When is she due her next feed and what is it you are feeding her on? It is a good idea to have a seperate viv for feeding, just make sure it isnt substrate down, but only kitchen roll, to make sure she doesnt ingest any that could cause her problems.
She is so beautiful by the way, and it is lovely to see her feeding.

Agree with Judith , We are here to help you and not have a pop at you mate, We are looking out for you and your snakling. The advice given on this forum is 100% accurate compared to the pet shops which they have no idea what they are talking about they just want to get a sale so they will say anything to you so you belive it and buy it. |

\ Oh no they werent like that, they have been keeping her for a while now cause she wasn't feeding properly and was only eating bits, not a whole mouse... they were really nice, not like some other Breeder/shops Ive been to that dont even tell you you need a heat source or anything. I have full trust in them and they also have an in-house vet which is hepful for when i may need help.... All the help is wanted and understood and I can't thank you enough..... Buy the way I thought she escaped today.
Just got in and she was hiding out under the newspaper and sub LMAO i was well freaked. |

Whats done is done, you didn't know, conflicting opinion and techniques are common, i do agree shops and the breeder should know better.
You say you have a spare feeding viv? remove the substrate from it, she wont need it when shes in there for 10 minutes chowing down on stuart, and it adds to the risk of impaction.

Once she's all settled in you just need to leave them for 48 hours after a feed. |
