Got me thinking earlier on, think this maybe another genious topic of mine?

Well, fortunately for us males, but female humans.. dogs.. etc they all menstruate.

I was wondering this, do snakes do the same? and are slugs anything to do with it?

I'd like to know. - I'd hate to meet a rectic whose on, my step mums hormones go awol, wouldnt wanna come across a peed off snake!!

they do ovulate but if the eggs aren't fertilised then nothing should really become of them and they're re-absorbed. obviously hormones are involved in controlling all of this but don't panic hun, i don't think they get violent mood swings

I actually think this was a valid question.


It was a point that was raised last night, because obviously snakes do need to have a male to fertilize them.
You'd be surprised at how many others that might not know and might not want to ask, at the end of the day, you'd never know until you ask.

Thank goodness they don't. If Corns had mood swings like mine there'd be lots of stories of owners being eaten by their snakes.
