Cor she's beautiful!!

BUT if she's having trouble feeding.. Best to get a well established agressive feeder.

Highly recommend Sue from hissnhers, myself and Hannah have bought 3 hatchings from her in the past. Apart from Aura who was bought as a non feeder they are all in excellent condition with no problems.
If you get chance to meet her at any of the show dates next year you'll see how much she cares about her breeding.

If you don't end up buying this one she also keeps a waiting list of possible morphs for 2010 just put your name down and you will be the first to hear.

Aura hatched on the 18th August and only started to accept food (with assistance) in October, think it was the 25th but it might have been the week before..
Aura in particular was fussy and although she was taking pinkie pieces shes now back on mouse tails which is a slight set back but hopefully she'll be back on pinkie bits soon,

If your getting a non feeder it will take a lot of patience and time trying everything to get them to feed. In Aura's case she had still not eaten anything when we got her.

But if the one your getting has eaten something under the watchful eye of Sue then that's a start. If you can hang on till he has eaten regularly it will be a much nicer and safer transition for the snake.

I am well biased towards the amel stripes (of course) That one looks to me to be a motley, but still really beautiful and very stripey still!

I prefer to leave the non-feeders to the more experienced keepers, couldn't cope with all the worry and stress of wondering if I was scaring the snake and making it worse!

...but not always you can get stripes with a broken pattern, and the extreme of this would be a cube which looks very much like a motley but has a square-ish pattern. The square bit of pattern on this could be a partial cube pattern.

Do you know what its parents are?

sorry, I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I have a stripe and she doesn't look like that snake because her stripes change widths and she has that block of colour, my strpe only has 4 stripes, 2 thick on the top and 1 thin one on each side which is slightly broken (because she is not a perfect specimen)

I thought yours was a motley because the stripes changed width as they went along her body and because of the cube and I did not know stripes did that, also there is another line on top which stops just above her head and that is different again to my snake. I'm sorry again if I offended you, I just presumend because mine is a stripe and looks different.

I'm so new to this and I was just trying to help x

I got my amel stripe from breed above in redcar - she was fairly pricey (£80), but has been very well looked after and is a healthy, well specimen, they also have het information and parantage on every snake they sell, which is nice.

The had 2 other amel stripes, males, when I bought spaghetti, slightly darker in colourand with different hets, but the same age.
If they're still there then the price may have gone down, if you message me I can find you their number - they're very good for a shop and provide a really good level of care! I'm so impressed by them!

They give a good feeding/shed etc history so they can put your mind at ease about feeding issues!

i meant an unbroken middle bit (dodgy wording!) i thought that if the two stripes either side of the spine met it wasnt a proper stripe.. my bad
thanks for putting me right
