Well I decided to re-do this guide;
One - I was bored.
two - the old one, was, well, not the best..

So, here we go, before you clean out your vivarium, there are several things you need before you clean out your snake;

1) a vivarium not been cleaned for a month;

2) Some rather usefull tools that will make, for me, cleaning out usefull!

3)Don't forget to stay your snake away safely; I use a zip up cushion cover

Cleaning the vivarium

4)firstly; remove the decor

5)Get out somewhere with a load of space you dont mind getting dirty..

6)Then, I tip the contents of my vivarium into a bin sack

7)Hoover out some of the stuborn bits of substrate

8)Squirt the viv down with the special disinfectant, then wipe down. Repeat, with warm water

9)Dry with kitchen towel;

10)Refil the substrate;

One clean vivarium!

Cleaning the decor!

11)Give your decor a good squirt and wipe with the disinfectant in every nook and cranny, and rinse in warm water.

12)After a swish and rinse, I use this to dry the bits and bobs

13)Place decor, and snake back in and you have a clean viv for another month!

Feel free to resize please, hope this helps!

Quick question, if you couldnt use these disinfectants because you may be allergic to them what else could you use? I heard that you could use baby steriling tablets to clean the vivs out with but not sure. Thanks for any responses.
