Hiya all.
I have a 1937 aquarium thermostat that i've been using inside my beardie tank for the heat-lamp for some time now.
However about 2 days ago I broke the test-tube that houses the stat.
It need to be 19mm in diameter across the top and 180mm long and made of glass.
Dunno if anyone has a lab supplies near them, or could 'borrow' one from school or college etc to send to me.
I'll get piccys up of the stat up soon, so you can see what It looks like.
Any help either with a linky to a site I could buy them from would be appreciated.
Cheers |

Hiya solid, LS-UK has a Minimum order of 500 on the size I want. I did think of buying a small glass 'water filter' from a shop up the road from me with similar items to the second list, but there was nothing that would work.
Cheers for the linkys though, I'll just keep hunting. |

Why didn't you think to break it in the spring. I had a tame lab tech helping me with my honours project. Could have got you loads . |

K, the Hawk wasn't at school for two days so didn't get a chance to ask there, but hopefully tomorrow he goes and checks like I'd promised.
Meanwhile, the thought crossed my mind that you could find what you're looking for in a department store in the "fancy household dust collectors" section, I remember seeing something shaped exactly like your test tube, only it was used to hold a single flower and was sitting inside a metal holder. Can't remember more than that, if I do I'll let you know.
