OK, so before I get the ribbing I know is coming, when I first purchased Jasper he was attacking his previous owner and did nothing but strike the box all the way home, so I THOUGHT he was gonna be a touch nasty. However, I think a weaner and a small rat has calmed him down a touch.

As you can see he is deep in shed mode, but acted perfectly (NEVER allowed near my head), didn't strike once either. All in all I handled him for a good 10 mins and he went back to his rub without a fight. Man he is strong!

Excuse the chava jacket, I was prepared for a battle so wore clothes I didn't mind being bitten.

Cannot wait for him to shed as he looks to have a brownish tinge to him, but you never know till they are wearing new clothes.

All in all one happy owner.

ooops, I bought another.........

if you are more confident the snake will feel that and calm down, if the previous owner was scsred of him the snake will pick that up causing the behaviour!!
Beautiful snake by the way *wants*

confidence was not the problem with the guy I got him from, trust me. I really think he was just underfed. Apparently it was being fed medium mice as that's "all it needs/wants......"

Having been in two fires there is always a fire extinguisher to hand in my house ;) especially with the amount of electrics I run.
