hello winston keeps ****ting in his water bowl, y? and do snakes wee or do they go poo and wee at the same time?

its better in the water bowl then on your lap witch is where bilbo did it last week. that was a large poo and there seemd to be wee in there as well not that i was sat there looking at it for to long lol.



2 male corns (Bilbo and roger)
1 female corn (lizzie)
2 dogs westies (jock & morag)
5 mirror carp
3 common carp
3 tench
5 gold fish

Hm. I gather the concern here is not so much the aesthetics but the fact that after emptying himself this way he has no further supply of fresh water.

I was thinking that adding a smaller water bowl in addition to the one he uses as a toilet bowl might answer this need, but on the other hand it could make the viv too humid.

tbh some snakes spend a bit of time in their water bowls and they just end up going to the loo there aswell..
i think its just a case of keep checkin on it and changing as and when

my kings always use their water bowls to poo in,when i put fresh water in you can garuntee they will dump in it with in 30 mins.

Do wonder why they do that? I know that when you give your snake a bath it sometimes stimulates them to go. Kellog is like Toby, only does it when he is being out and handled...but I am getting good at seeing the signs and 'catching'. From what I remember they do sort of wee...it comes out a bit like soft white crystal. You also get a lot of liquid when they do poo, not sure if that is regarded as wee or not. xxx
